Mission Statement

We endeavor to be a mechanism to effect changes locally which promote righteous stewardship of our corner of the world and inclusion of all interested people who share our concerns.

We are local citizens focused on fostering environmental education and actions which enhance all community members and successive generations' stake in our only earth.

2nd Annual Interfaith Prayer Service

SCIEC is hosting its 2nd annual interfaith prayer service on April 26, 2009 starting at 3:00 pm. Come and celebrate God's goodness to humanity and humanity's sacred duty to be excellent stewards of the Earth and others. The service will be filled with songs of praises, thoughts for reflection, ideas of hope and love for Creator, creature and creation.
